Entering Killarney Channel

Entering Killarney
This is the '2nd' time we've come through here on this trip.

Pit Stop
Here is the fuel dock at Sportsman. Notice the 100+ ft. yacht  Unity tied up here.

Sportsman Inn
Sport 'n Life is docked right up front when we pulled in for a visit.

Neighbors
Found Marc, Seth, and Igram here having lunch on the back deck of Sport 'n Life.

A the Dock
Gina and I used the pay phones then posed for a picture on the dock before leaving.

Leaving Killarney
Here we exit out the west entrance  of the Killarney Channel.

Killarney to Baie Fine

Killarney Bay
Lighthouse marks western Killarney.

Lansdowne Channel
Passed some sailboats.

Frazer Point
Entrance to Baie Fine

Baie Fine

Okeechobee Lodge
Just inside Frazer Point. It is private now, so almost  all of  the docks are gone.

Buoys
There aren't many buoys. Here you're in the middle, but then you get sent east.

Onward
We slow down to enjoy the view and navigate the last of the buoys.

Close to Shore
Baie Fine is sometimes referred to as a fjord, with all  the tall cliffs and trees.

Green Buoy
The course down Baie Fine now routes to the eastern shore, around these islets.

Water Color
The water looks like a topaz color, then changes to an emerald green.

Mary Ann Cove

Close
Pass between shore and this little small island, and you are close.

Entrance
Mary Ann Cove entrance as seen from a distance.

Heading In
You almost don't see the narrow entrance until you are right up close.

Stern Line
Although I initially 'swam' to shore to tie the line, we did take the dinghy later.

Close Up of Rock
The water is clear and there definitely is rock where we are anchoring.

Lounging
The afternoon was hot and these inflatable chairs are just fantastic.

Clean Water
Here is a series of pics shot underwater at our Mary Ann Cove anchorage. The camera works great in the water. There was  a fairly steep ledge at shore where we tied up. It worked best wearing water shoes, because of some of the small sharp ones. The water was fairly warm also.

Relaxing at Anchor

Dinner
Mary and Laurie served up dinner on the back deck of Instead Of

Rafted
Instead Of and crew finally joined up with us today. We anchored near shore.

Lounging
Gina relaxes in the nice warm and clear waters in Mary Ann Cove.
