Killarney to Mary Ann Cove Overview

Leg 2 of Today's Trip

After our stop in Killarney, we head west out Killarney Bay and through the Lansdowne Channel.

Out into Frazer Bay we turn north and then back east into Baie Fine.

Hugging the southern shore for 2 miles we pull into Mary Ann Cove to anchor.

The green represents the route we charted. The end of the first leg ends at b. I then had to punch in the next leg (gold) from b to c. After reaching a I took went to punch in the next leg and wandered too close too shore (the four foot depth on the chart).
Heading to Anchor at Mary Ann Cove

Just a Few Buoys

You can see the 'EH' series of buoys that you weave through before tracking northeast.

Okeechobee Lodge is just inside the entrance to Baie Fine. (You can see the many docks on this chart, even though they are all gone now). As you turn south into Mary Ann Cove you need to give the western side a wide berth, to make sure you clear the rocks (visible on the chart by the + marking).

Here is another view of coming into Baie Fine to anchor in Mary Ann Cove.

The yellow line represents the approximate route we took.
