Morning at South Benjamin



A Great Looking Day.

The sun rose over the tall cliff to the east of our anchorage. Enjoying  a cup of coffee on the front deck, a troop of ducks came by to visit.

Afternoon Dinghy Tour


Around The Islands
Our 4 ½ mile dingy tour took us completely  around South and North Benjamin
Islands. We went close to shore, near some islets, and through some narrow
passages. The scenery was fantastic, as we wound our way in calm waters.

     


Interesting Scenery
Many of the passages were narrow, yet deep.


Nice Color Mix.
The blue water and pink granite contrasted the clouds in the sky.

There were plenty of places
to land the dinghy and hike.

Beaching the dinghy, we took a walk
up  near the top of South Benjamin.

Finishing Up our 'Round the Islands Cruise
After completing our dinghy ride around both Islands, we beached at the base of a hill leading to the top of South Benjamin.  A flotilla of a dozen boats from a Marine Max rendezvous came into the harbor. They ended up pairing off and anchoring out in the middle for the night.
