Motoring and Then Rowing

We started from the boat (lower left hand corner) and made our way north along the western shore, stopping at a dock out front of a closed up cabin.

After exploring a bit, we left, but ran out of gas in the dinghy shortly after that. A nice work out (rowing) ensued as we made our way back to the anchorage. This round trip was only 1 1/2 miles.

Note: Muskie Island (located top center on the chart) at the entrance west into Collins Inlet was for sale in 2006. 2.1 acres for $349k.
